Subscription & billing
What do the plans include?
There are two plans — Yearly $39.99 (with a 7-day free trial) and Monthly $9.99 — and both unlock the identical full app. The only difference is billing cadence.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Apple manages purchases, trials, and cancellation entirely. Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or App Store → account → Subscriptions. Cancelling during the trial means you are never charged.
What does Restore Purchases do?
It re-checks your Apple ID with the App Store and reactivates a subscription you already own. Nothing is ever charged by restoring. You'll find it on the paywall.
What happens to my reminders if my subscription lapses?
Reminders pause, but nothing is deleted. Resubscribing brings them back exactly as they were.
My reminder didn’t speak
Check notification permission first
Reminders arrive as notifications, so notification permission is required. Turn it on in Settings → CallMeThen → Notifications.
The silent switch and volume
With the silent switch on, reminders vibrate instead of speaking. Speaking volume follows your ringer volume.
Focus modes
Time Sensitive delivery lets reminders speak through Focus modes. You can toggle it in the app’s Settings.
Getting a better voice
Premium iOS voices are downloaded in iOS Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices. CallMeThen uses whichever system voice you choose.
Privacy
Where do my reminders go?
Nowhere. Reminder content never leaves your iPhone, and no account exists. See the Privacy page for the full policy.
